An update of my somewhat boring life

Live Spaces

I really want to show my support for Microsoft by using more Live services (e.g. Live Spaces). I really do. A lot of my friends also use Live Messenger, so they can easily see my update on Live Spaces. But it's just...all these screw-up page layouts on Firefox, and the fact that you can't embed a picture in the middle of your blog (all pictures are tagged at the end of the entry) is kind of annoying. I don't like Blogspot because it's kind of confusing (I like something more simpler) and I don't belong to that community. Exteen is where my fandom friends dwell in, but (1) it's freaking slow + the site is down 50% of the time, and (2) it's only for Thai peeps. I hope Live Spaces will improve to be much better than its current state soon.

Dating Show (LIVE!)

You know one of those late-night reality tv shows that obviously aren't good enough to make it to prime time? Yes, those terrible dating shows that sometimes quite funny to watch just to laugh at those crazy people (crazy enough to make a fool of themselves on natinal tv.) But what I'm about to tell you is definitely worse! Why? Because it's live!

So I went to Zoka today, trying to finish grading homeworks. (side note: people NEED to staple their work and WRITE LEGIBLY!) The couple that sat next to me were shamelessly flirting to each other, which was fine if the guy weren't so whiny and full of himself it made me want to vomit.

Pardon if it sounds like I was eavesdropping, but they were quite loud and consistently chatting (despite acting like studying for test) it's hard for me not to hear anything.

Anyway, so I think they were talking about finding a job, and this guy said something like "I think it'll be easy for you to find a job, coz you're pretty." I HAD TO restrain myself not to bitch-slap him right then and there! I couldn't understand why the girl didn't take it as an insult. And then the guy went on and talk about all his past relationships, and kept talking and talking, and kept getting more annoying and annoying. In the end, the girl asked where they were going for this relationship and if he was looking for anything serious, and the guy just simply blanked out. The girl ended up saying that she didn't think she was his type, and it took him seriously like > 30 seconds to find a response. He didn't even say no, just asked back why. O_o ... I was very tempted to intervene and tell him exactly why no girl will ever want to go out with him based on that conversation.

I know I sound crazy, but it was very annoying to see this type of men. Luckily, most of my male friends weren't like that. Of course, I woundn't have befriended them from the beginning if they were. Okay, I must go back to work.

In Search of the Perfect Shoes

People who have known me for more than 3 years would know that I'm not a shopper. I admit that I like window shopping, and I do have the tendency to buy things on impulse, but seriously, my wardrobe is about 1/3 of what an average girl owns. (It used to be 1/6 back in high school, but I'm doing much better now.) My most recent obsession with shoes started when I was trying to put my mind off some unpleasant thoughts. I also happened to own 6 pairs of nearly-broken shoes, so I threw them away once and for all. That would leave me with a pair of kitten-heel sling back, and a pair of zebra-printed ballet flats...not exactly the most practical shoes for school now, are they?

So yes, I've been looking and buying quite a few pairs recently. Since Fall, I've purchased 8 pairs in total, 4 of which aren't shoes that I can wear on a daily basis. And come on, most girls do own more shoes than that. I guess I'm just a late bloomer, that's all.

PS. I'm still looking for pastel, candy-like mules like those you see in Marie Antoinette. I actually found a couple of them at Neiman Marcus in SF. They are lovely. I should have at least tried them on. Why didn't I buy them, you ask? Well, they are Manolo Blahnik's, that's why. I can barely pay my rent, so no, I can't afford Manolo's.

V for Voracity

Today sucks. It's been raining non-stop since I woke up. Not to mention couple bad news I received when I checked my mailbox this morning. I'm still sore from the practice last night. I'm just looking forward to tomorrow when chocolates go on sales.

Help! I need a therapy!!!

I've been spending way too much money on clothing and shoes! Just yesterday while walking home I bought another pair of boots! (I was tempted by the sales.) I really need to STOP buying things...but but but I want new dresses :'(
